Privacy Notice
What PFI Academy collects, and why — in plain language.
Profile information
When you create free Academy access we store your name, email address, organization or clinic, role and country, plus optional details you choose to add (organization type, website, phone / WhatsApp).
Academy learning activity
We record which lessons, cases, playbooks and insights you open, so your progress is saved across devices and sessions.
Active-learning time
While a lesson is open and your browser tab is visible, we count active learning seconds. The counter pauses when the tab is hidden. This is used for your own progress display and for aggregate Academy reporting.
Progress and completion
Lesson status (not started, in progress, completed), completion timestamps and learning path progress are stored against your account.
Acquisition information
On your first visit we store first-party context — the page you landed on, the referring website, campaign tags in the link (utm_*) and your language. It is recorded once and not overwritten later. We do not use third-party analytics services or fingerprinting.
Optional marketing consent
Marketing consent is optional, unchecked by default, and Academy access never depends on it. We store your choice, when it changed and where it was given.
Changing your mind
You can change your marketing preference at any time from My Learning, and update your profile details there too.
